The State Hermitage has raised the admission price

The cost of the ticket to the Hermitage has increased by 50 rubles - from 350 to 400 rubles.

At the same time everyone who holds a Russian passport still has a discount - the ticket for the Russian citizens costs 100 rubles, the press service of the museum told the Fontanka.

Besides the discount for the citizens the Hermitage offers free admission for children, pupils and students irrespective of nationality, as well as for pensioners - the citizens of Russia. In order to take advantage of the benefits, the visitor must prove the rights for them, that is, provide the appropriate document. The participants and invalids of Great Patriotic War, residents of besieged Leningrad and some other categories of citizens still have the right for free admission.
